Modest players, but it will be necessary to be wary of them

A provisional list, made up of 3 goalkeepers, 11 defenders, 8 midfielders and 11 attackers, because several players will be discarded at the end of the course to establish the final list which will contain the elements selected for the trip to Algiers.

From what we have seen, the list unveiled by the Serbian technician contains players who play in modest clubs. In addition to the striker of Paradou AC (Algeria) Allan Okello, there are those who play in several African championships, among others the goalkeeper Charles Lukwago (Saint-Georges, Ethiopia), the two midfielders Khalid Aucho (Yanga, Tanzania) and Muzamiru Mutyaba (Kiyovu Sports, Rwanda), or striker Allan Kyambadde (El-Gona, Egypt). There are even those who play in the Israeli league, namely defender Timothy Awany (Asdod) and midfielder Fahad Bayo (Bnei Saknin).

The other players on the list play in the local league or in modest teams from different world championships, citing among others the USA, Ukraine, the Czech Republic or England.

In short, the list revealed by “Micho” does not contain star players. On paper, we can say that the teammates of captain Riyad Mahrez are the big favorites to win on June 4, but they will still have to take their opponent very seriously to avoid a bad surprise.
